Position Overview:
This position, under the direction of the Head Baseball Coach, independently performs and is responsible for:
Assisting the Head Baseball Coach in the coordination of a safe, enthusiastic, and competitive collegiate baseball program.
Providing direct instruction, supervision, and mentorship to NAIA student-athletes, supporting their development athletically, academically, and personally.
Managing recruitment, retention, and ongoing coaching in compliance with Bethany College, Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) policies and procedures.
Working collaboratively with all athletic and campus staff to support a positive student-athlete experience and uphold the college's mission.
Essential Functions:
Lead, support, and prioritize student retention with a positive and nurturing program that is committed to graduation.

Travel:
Travel as required by team schedule, as determined by coaching staff, Dean of Athletics, Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
Work Schedule:
This role may require extended and irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary to meet the responsibilities of the position.
Confidentiality:
This position does not involve access to confidential student or personnel records beyond standard student-athlete performance data.
