Athletic Coach Position

Basic qualifications include enthusiasm for athletics, availability for all related activities, knowledge of assigned sports fundamentals, organizational and motivational skills, ability to model behavior as outlined in Coaches Handbook, successful coaching experience and training over a period of years, willingness to support the total athletic program, current First Aid and C.P.R. card, attendance at a training class on Hepatitis B and HIV, receiving vaccination for Hepatitis B if necessary, and taking the district's class on sexual harassment training. Candidates will also be fingerprinted for a background check. Pursuant to WIAA Regulations, head coaches must be 21 years of age; assistant coaches must be 19 years of age. Classroom teacher is preferred but not required.
