Job Summary
The Assistant Biologist I is responsible for performing routine, GLP-compliant laboratory activities in support of ecotoxicology studies. Under supervision, the incumbent executes study- and protocol-specific procedures in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), study protocols, and applicable regulatory guidelines. The position supports daily study maintenance, organism husbandry, equipment calibration and maintenance, and accurate real-time data collection. The Assistant Biologist I is expected to maintain laboratory cleanliness, adhere to all safety requirements, and contribute to the integrity, reliability, and regulatory compliance of study data.

Operates under close supervision of GLP-designated Study Director or Principal Investigator. Responsible for accurate data recording per GLP. Not eligible for Study Director assignment at this level. Must follow all applicable SOPs and escalate any deviation or unusual observation immediately.
Qualifications
The pay rate for this role is $21.00 per hour.
