    Compensation range: $62,400 – 67,200 annually

    The actual salary offered within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, and performance expectations.

    Position Overview

    We are seeking amotivated Assistant Branch Manager; your focus is to assist in running the daily branch operations, coach staff to meet financial, operational, service and growth goals and to step in as manager when needed. Serving as a representative of the credit union, you uphold the highest standards of professionalism, focusing on creating a positive member centric experience.

    Knowledge & Skills Needed to be successful in this role?

    • Associates degree is preferred or high school diploma or GED with an equivalent amount of work experience.
    • A minimum of three to five years of customer service, banking or related experience is normally required. One year in a supervisory role is preferred.
    • Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal skills.
    • Energetic, eager to learn and willing to cooperate
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Decision-making skills to work autonomously and manage specific tasks
    • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
    • Proficiency with a PC and associated programs (such as Microsoft Office)
    • Ability to build relationships with members and teammates
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Impeccable dependency regarding all scheduled shifts, including the ability to work Saturdays
    • Become proficient in all relevant systems as well as credit union products
    • Ability to maintain poise and professionalism under pressure

     

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Lead staff towards attaining organizational objectives while actively seeking opportunities to help them develop to their highest potential by providing leadership, counseling, staff training and problem solving.
    • Regularly monitor employee performance and hold employees accountable for attitude and behaviors; provides feedback, develops a plan to improve employees that underperform; recognizes and reward employees the perform at a high level.
    • Prepare performance review for employees and keep HR informed about any employee issues that are HR related. Assist personnel scheduling to meet the needs of the membership
    • Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and ensure that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions
    • Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations, suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups
    • Maintains communications with senior management team, other branch managers and administrative office staff, prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings
    • Monitor, review, and follow all branch activities to ensure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures. Recommend changes to policy and procedures and assist in implementing changes if approved.
    • Must have, or be willing to obtain a notary license within 6 months
    • Performs other duties as assigned
