The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University''s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Engineering Operations , the Assistant Building Manager will manage the daily operations of corrective and preventative maintenance for critical building systems, automation controls and valves directly related to HVAC, electrical, piping/plumbing systems. The ABM will also follow up on work tickets, insures completeness and reports out key stakeholders, including clients and building occupants.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor''s degree or equivalent in education and experience plus four years related experience.
NYC Refrigeration License (Q-01)
Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Some experience in a lead position or experience as a supervisor.
Knowledge of building operations and management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to work in a complex institutional environment and to think strategically required.
Candidate must also hold or be able to obtain a valid F-85 Certificate of Fitness as a Fire Safety Director within nine months of employment.
Ability to work flexible hours.
