Assistant Bus Mechanic

The assistant school bus mechanic and outdoor maintenance employee is responsible for planning and scheduling the repair and preventative maintenance on the Monroe-Gregg School Districts transportation fleet as needed. The role also includes the expectation of a daily bus route as needed. Responsibilities include ensuring the availability of vehicles in a safe operating condition while meeting all state and federal transportation requirements. Assistance with general property maintenance to include snow removal is also required. Weekly service hours are forty (40) hours per week. Position is for 260 service days.
