Assistant Center Manager
 
The Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) offers a variety of services, with many of them provided onsite at a PACE Center.
PACE is an alternative to nursing home care and – through an interdisciplinary care team (IDT) of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, therapists, van drivers, and aides – coordinates and provides preventive, primary, acute, and long-term care services, so older individuals can continue living in the community.

The Role
As our Assistant Center Manager, you’ll be a key leader in the daily operations of our rehabilitation and nutrition teams. You will guide and mentor Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Dietitians, and their support staff, ensuring the highest standards of participant care both in our day center and in their homes.

You will:

  • Lead, coach, and support your team to deliver exceptional care.

  • Ensure participant independence, autonomy, and dignity remain top priorities.

  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to coordinate care plans.

  • Manage departmental best practices, compliance, and competency.

  • Handle participant and vendor concerns with professionalism and empathy.

  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of direct reports.

  • Support the Center Manager in meetings, initiatives, and daily operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

  • Minimum 2 years’ leadership experience (healthcare leadership preferred).

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Experience working with the frail, elderly, or long-term care population (preferred).

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Ability to inspire, coach, and build cohesive teams.

Additional Requirements
  • Must be fully vaccinated or willing to become vaccinated against:
    Influenza, MMR, Varicella, Tdap/Td, COVID-19, and Hepatitis B
  • Must meet CMS competency standards prior to working independently
  • Comfortable working in varied home environments and all weather conditions
