The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Clinical Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the clinical department, ensuring that all patient care is delivered in a safe and effective manner. Responsibilities:- Assist the Clinical Manager in managing the clinical department, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Schedules and appropriately documents patients schedules in a timely manner.
- Participates in coordinating care with management and patient interdisciplinary team.
- Provides effective communication to patients, staff members, other healthcare professionals, and referral sources.
- Responds to Agency and patient needs in a professional and creative manner. Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency.
- Promotes the Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
- Reaches out to and follows up with doctor offices in regard to patient care.
- Manages the flow of patient care.
- Review and process clinical reviews.
- Communicates with the pre-authorization team.
- Discharge patients from care under the direction of the Clinical Manager.
- Send lab referrals to the approved destination.
Requirements:- Current and valid LVN license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders
Job Requirements - Valid LVN License
- Previous experience in a Home Health setting
- Experience with Kinnser/Wellsky EMR
