Overview:

The School of Nursing at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications from qualified candidates to fill two vacancies for the Assistant Clinical Professor position. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities:
Classroom and clinical instruction in graduate nursing education as well as online instruction. Experience in nursing leadership/administration. Successful candidates should have a beginning program of research and scholarship; committee service and outreach activities are required.

The successful candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
    • Knowledge and insights gained from the exploration of his/her area of specialization.
    • Ability to communicate to professional peers.
    • Ability to perform successfully the professional duties assigned.
    • Ability to engage in scholarship and research.
    • Ability to demonstrate academic growth.

 

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree in Nursing: PhD, DNP in Health Systems Leader, Nurse Executive, or Administration.

Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate degree or doctorate degree conferred by date of hire. Recent clinical experience with teaching experience at the graduate level.
