Overview
The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach with directing, supervising and implementing the duties and functions of the men''s baseball program. The work schedule for this position will vary and may require some evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities
Be responsible for being thoroughly familiar and complying with all College, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and United East Conference polices and procedures. Assist in coaching the necessary skills, techniques and physical conditioning sufficient to enable each athlete to compete in the men''s baseball program safely and to the best of their abilities. Be responsible for assisting with the on-site supervision during all practice and game situations. Exhibit a high level of expertise in baseball; seek self-improvement when possible. May be responsible for driving a College vehicle to and from sporting events, as needed. Assume Head Coach Responsibilities in the short-term absence of the Head Coach. Assist in the recruiting of prospective student-athletes. Assist with Academic meetings, monitoring and study hall hours of student-athletes Assist with community service and leadership development programs. Participate in Alumni engagement efforts. Work Game Day operations during fall and winter seasons when not with baseball.
