Job Summary/Basic Function:

The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach with:

  • On-ice coaching, skill development, and practice planning
  • Recruiting and evaluating prospective student-athletes who fit the institution's academic and athletic standards
  • Game preparation, video analysis, and opponent scouting
  • Individual player development and mentoring
  • Monitoring student-athlete academic progress and well-being
  • Team travel coordination and logistics
  • Equipment management and administrative duties
  • Community engagement and alumni relations efforts
  • Compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Department

Job Requirements & Essential Functions of the Job: Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid driver's license
