Position Summary

The Athletics Department at Concordia University Wisconsin, a private NCAA DIII institution in Mequon, Wisconsin, is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Assistant Coach in the Men's & Women's Track & Field program. This is a part-time, seasonal position reporting to the program's Head Coach and further to the Director of Athletics. Assistant Coaches at CUWAA fulfill the Athletics Department mission to inspire a Christian culture of academic and athletic excellence by embracing the mission of the University: developing the mind, body and spirit of our student-athletes. Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Design all training for each practice.
• Create pre-meet training plan
• Attend practice and meets.
• Support all student athletes in their athletic & academic endeavors
• Support and integrate the mission and values of Concordia University within the program.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree strongly encouraged and collegiate track & Field experience or coaching experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Excellent organizational abilities, professional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a driver check.
• Supportive of mission and core values of the CUWAA Athletics Department.
• Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)

Compensation & Benefits

This is a part-time, seasonal position paid by way of bi-monthly stipend throughout the duration of the sport/program season. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience. This position is not eligible for employee benefits.
