The Marshfield School District is excited to announce an opportunity to help lead our growing Girls Wrestling Program at Marshfield High School! We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Girls Wrestling Assistant Coach who is passionate about building athletes' skills, confidence, and character through the sport of wrestling.

About the Role:

As an Assistant Coach, you will be responsible for supporting the developing, and expanding a competitive and inclusive program that fosters team unity, individual growth, and school spirit. You''ll work closely with the head coach, student-athletes, families, and school leadership to promote a culture of excellence both on and off the mat.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and develop student-athletes in wrestling techniques, sportsmanship, and athletic conditioning.

• Build a strong program culture rooted in respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

• Assist in overseeing volunteer coaching staff, practices, and competitions.

• Ensure safety, eligibility, and adherence to WIAA rules and district policies.

• Support student-athletes in balancing academics, athletics, and personal growth.

• Promote the sport through community outreach, youth programs, and school engagement.
