    DESCRIPTION OF JOB:

    Edgewood University seeks qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Coach serving as head assistant for the Women's Basketball program. This is a ten-month position with optional full tuition waiver for Graduate level courses (18 credit hours per year) and small stipend.

    Incumbent must be able to start by June 1, 2026.

    Responsibilities:
    • Ability to participate through coaching in practice and drills
    • Individual workouts with players
    • Recruiting
    • Instruction and assistance with two weeks of summer basketball camp
    • Game film study and preparation
    • Investment in lives and growth of student-athletes
    • Assisting head coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring and evaluation
    • Other administrative duties as assigned
    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    Necessary Education or Work Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • Previous coaching experience desired
    Required Knowledge and Skills:
    • Excellent candidates should have collegiate playing, and advanced skill and/or teaching/coaching experience.
