Assistant Coach - Women''s Softball

The assistant coach will assist the head coach in all aspects of running the softball team. The position will assist with organization of practices, recruiting, individual player development, scouting reports and video analysis.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree, and at least 5 years of collegiate coaching or playing at high level required.

Skills and Knowledge

Significant softball coaching experience preferred. At least 5 years of coaching or playing at a high level.

Responsibilities

• Development of infield and hitters.
• Planning in and off-season workouts.
• Assisting with planning and organizing of team practice.
• Assisting with game management as well as scouting reports.
• Aide with tracking and evaluating recruits.
• Scheduling official and unofficial visits as well as coaching staff travel to evaluate athletes.
• Oversee strength and conditioning.
• Be a liaison for strength and conditioning and assist with progress of players.
• Assist with team travel.
