Build Your Career on High-Impact Infrastructure Projects

Are you ready to take the next step in your construction management career? We're seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to join our growing Transmission & Distribution team, supporting complex EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects across the country.

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and Construction Managers while gaining hands-on experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects serving the energy, power generation, aviation, manufacturing, water, and industrial markets. If you're looking for an opportunity with long-term career growth, challenging projects, and exposure to every phase of construction management, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Construction Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping projects safe, organized, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities include:

  • Support daily construction operations while helping ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Construction Managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients throughout all phases of project execution.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and contract administration.
  • Monitor field activities to ensure compliance with safety programs, quality standards, permits, and project specifications.
  • Track project progress, prepare reports, manage documentation, and assist with cost reporting, invoicing, and change management.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, mobilization, and site logistics.
  • Help identify project risks and support the development of practical solutions.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients while supporting successful project delivery from kickoff through closeout.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 3+ years of construction, field engineering, or project management experience.
  • Experience supporting commercial, industrial, utility, energy, transmission & distribution, oil & gas, aviation, manufacturing, or similar infrastructure projects.
  • Working knowledge of construction scheduling, project controls, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management, scheduling, or construction software is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel full-time to project locations.

Why Join Us?

  • Work on large, complex infrastructure projects that shape communities and critical utility systems.
  • Gain mentorship from experienced construction and project management leaders.
  • Build experience across all phases of EPC and construction management.
  • Enjoy significant opportunities for career advancement into Construction Management and Project Management leadership roles.
  • Join a collaborative team that values safety, quality, innovation, and professional development.

If you're looking for more than just your next job—and want to build a long-term career managing impactful infrastructure projects—we encourage you to apply.
