Assistant Construction Project Manager - Cleveland

We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help support multifamily construction projects from start to finish. You will help lead large‑scale podium multifamily projects while being part of an reputable contractor with a strong presence in the Cleveland market.

Description

• Help Senior Project Managers in leading large ground‑up multifamily, podium construction projects ranging from $20M-$60M.
• Support all phases of project delivery: planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to keep projects on track.
• Help ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues proactively, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and cost reports

Profile

• Prior experience assisting with ground-up construction projects valued at $10M+
• Experience supporting large scale multifamily construction projects is a plus
• Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager large, ground‑up multifamily, podium, mid‑rise, or similarly complex vertical commercial construction is preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling software, and budgeting principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
