iWorld Professionals is seeking an Assistant Construction Superintendent for our client in Rochester NY. This is an onsite position in Rochester NY.

The Assistant Construction Superintendent is a key leadership role where you'll be the point person on-site, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Assistant Construction Superintendent Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day field operations and keep everything running smoothly, including:
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and materials to meet project timelines
  • Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with plans and specifications
  • Manage project schedules, inspections, and jobsite safety
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays
  • Lead jobsite meetings with project teams, subcontractors, and owners
  • Maintain daily logs, track progress, and support reporting needs
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times
  • Drive project closeout, including punch lists and final inspections
  • Ensure proper staffing and productivity across all phases of work
Assistant Construction Superintendent Requirements:
  • 3+ years of construction experience in a Superintendent or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of construction trades, sequencing, and jobsite coordination
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documents
  • Experience with construction software
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in real time
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
