Position Title: Assistant Contract Maintenance Manager (ACMM)

Area of Requirement: Fort Carson, Colorado (Colorado Springs)

Scope of Position:

The Assistant Contract Maintenance Manager supports the CMM in directing daily contract operations and assumes full management authority during the CMMs absence. The ACMM coordinates maintenance execution, workforce supervision, customer service, scheduling, and regulatory compliance while ensuring uninterrupted support for critical healthcare operations. The ACMM works closely with the Service Order Manager (SOM), Quality Control Manager (QCM), Site Safety and Health Officer ( SSHO), and Government representatives to maintain Joint Commission readiness and operational reliability.

Tasks and Capabilities Required:

  • Assist with overall contract management
  • Coordinate daily maintenance operations
  • Supervise maintenance supervisors and technicians
  • Support emergency operations
  • Manage daily work execution
  • Coordinate PM and corrective maintenance
  • Monitor staffing levels
  • Review work completion metrics
  • Coordinate KG resources
  • Support outage planning
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Serve as acting CMM when required
  • Respond within one hour to emergencies

Mandatory Experience and Certifications:

  • Minimum 5 years healthcare facility maintenance management experience
  • Minimum 5 years in inpatient healthcare facilities
  • Experience supervising diversified maintenance workforces
  • Minimum 5 years Joint Commission Physical Environment and National Patient Safety Goals experience
  • Working knowledge of NFPA, OSHA, EPA, and Joint Commission requirements
  • English proficiency
  • Onsite during normal duty hours with 24/7 availability

Preferred/Desired Certifications:

  • ASHE Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC)
