Assistant Controller
Ball Ground, GA (Fully onsite)
Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000 + 10% bonus

• Step into a leadership role with significant visibility across operations and executive leadership.

• Partner closely with the Controller and gain broad exposure to financial reporting, audit, tax, AP, AR, and manufacturing accounting.

• Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
• 
  
• Work within a global Dover Corporation business while supporting a well-established manufacturing operation.

• Influence cross-functional decision-making and help drive continuous improvement across the finance organization.

• Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• 
  
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue recognition, accruals, and fixed asset accounting.
• 
  
• Support audits, tax compliance activities, and internal control initiatives.
• 
  
• Drive process improvements and streamline accounting workflows across the organization.
• 
  
• Provide oversight and support for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections, and customer credit management.
• 
  

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 
  
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• 
  
• ERP system experience required; advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, Power BI experience preferred.
