Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all core accounting functions, including general ledger, AP/AR, and payroll
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry requirements
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial procedures
  • Monitor project financials, including cost tracking and variance analysis
  • Manage audits and coordinate with external accountants and advisors
  • Supervise and develop the accounting team
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

Profile

Successful Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
  • Extensive experience in accounting or finance, with a strong background in construction, real estate, or project-based industries
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and job cost accounting
  • Proven ability to lead accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience establishing and improving internal controls and financial processes
  • High level of proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel capabilities
  • Effective communicator, able to present financial insights clearly to senior leadership
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities
