We are currently looking for an Assistant Controller or Controller Controller with experience supporting a manufacturing organization. The position reports to the Plant Manager with a strong dotted line to the Business Unit. The Controller will act as a business partner to the Plant Manager, directing the sites finance function.

Job Responsibilities
Responsible for location compliance (financial reporting, adherence to all GAAP, SOX, and company policies and procedures). Practice risk management and ASAT compliance for all aspects of controls. Provide financial leadership and data analysis for the development of actions and alternatives used in management decision-making. Preparation of budgets and forecasting and corresponding financial accountability. Developing financial acumen in the location lead team.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Identifying key levers to drive business improvement and providing leadership to ensure implementation of business improvement opportunities.
  • Determine, in conjunction with plant management, targeted goals for performance measures of quality, productivity, delivery, cycle time, inventory optimization and profitability.
  • Deploying business unit initiatives.
  • Forecasting, planning and analyzing business results.
  • Complying with company and business unit financial reporting requirements.
  • Coordination of the capital appropriation process and post-project reviews.
  • Ensuring completion of company’s Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for internal controls.
  • Supervising department employees.

Qualifications
     Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS in Business Administration and/or Finance Accounting from an accredited institution.
  • Seven (7) years related financial/controllership work experience, a minimum of four (4) years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the Internal Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with project accounting software.
  • MBA, CMA and/or CPA.
  • Previous roles requiring SOX compliance and adherence to GAAP policies.
  • Plant Controller experience for a manufacturing facility.
  • Mobility strongly preferred.
  • High proficiency in using MS Office software; experience with Oracle, Hyperion, or similar systems; project management; multi-tasking; and developing/executing data queries.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a high-pressure/high-intensity environment.
  • Strong cost accounting skills (Multi-level Routing and Bill of Material Cost Accounting Experience).
  • Ability to dig for details and work on challenging projects.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner to non-finance personnel.
