A healthcare company is seeking an Assistant Controller to work closely with senior finance leadership across a broad range of financial and operational responsibilities.

This is an opportunity for a capable, driven finance professional to take ownership, handle increasingly complex responsibilities, and become a trusted resource to the senior finance team.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash activity, bank accounts, and related reporting.

• Assist in reviewing monthly financial statements, identifying issues, and coordinating necessary follow-up.

• Support budgeting and forecasting, including monthly analysis of results against budgets, operational activity, and key performance indicators.

• Prepare monthly and ad hoc financial and operational reporting for senior finance leadership.

• Take ownership of projects and recurring responsibilities, with the expectation of assuming greater responsibility and reducing the day-to-day burden on senior finance executives over time.

• Work across departments to gather information, resolve issues, and drive financial matters through completion.

Requirements

• Strong background in accounting and finance.

• Healthcare experience is preferred.

• Experience with financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and financial analysis.

• Confident and resourceful, willing and able to take on projects, work out the details independently, and follow through to execution.

• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with senior finance leadership.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
