    Description

    Position Summary

    One Source Amusements is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Controller to support our accounting and finance operations. This position works closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain accounting records, and assist with day-to-day financial activities. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, QuickBooks experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Controller with daily accounting and financial operations.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
    • Process and reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.
    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
    • Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
    • Review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for accuracy.
    • Assist with payroll processing and payroll reconciliations.
    • Help prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Monitor cash flow and assist with cash management activities.
    • Support internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
    • Assist with annual audits, tax filings, and financial documentation.
    • Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
    • Analyze financial data and identify opportunities to improve processes.
    • Provide administrative support to the Controller and Finance Department as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
    • 2–5 years of accounting experience required.
    • Experience with QuickBooks is required.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. Candidates will be asked to provide salary expectations during the interview process.
