Assistant Controller
Our client is seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to play a key role in a major ERP transformation while supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This is a highly visible opportunity for an accounting leader who enjoys systems implementations, process improvement, and mentoring teams through change.

Key Responsibilities
ERP & Systems Implementation
- Lead accounting's involvement in the transition from a legacy system to Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to define system requirements and workflows
- Analyze, scrub, reconcile, and migrate financial data into the new ERP environment
- Assist with system testing, validation, and optimization
- Train end users and support adoption across business units
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities
- Maintain strong accounting controls and ensure data integrity
- Provide guidance on accounting processes and best practices
- Assist with ongoing accounting projects and operational initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger accounting
- Experience supporting or leading ERP implementations
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and data analysis
- Experience with process improvement and systems integration
- Strong communication and project management skills
Preferred:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
- SAP, NetSuite, or other major ERP implementation experience
- CPA designation
- Manufacturing industry experience
