Assistant Controller

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000

Established organization seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Controller and CFO. This role offers a mix of technical accounting, leadership, project management, and process improvement responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Oversee month-end close and financial reporting
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and complex accounting transactions
Coordinate audit activities and support regulatory reporting
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements
Lead special projects and process improvement initiatives
Support multiple accounting functions across the organization

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA preferred
Progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry
Strong financial reporting, audit, and general ledger experience
Advanced Excel and accounting systems proficiency
