Job Description: Assistant Controller / Accounting Manager

Location: Hanover, MD

Schedule: Full-Time, Fully Onsite

Compensation: $90,000-$95,000 + ~10% Performance Bonus

About the Opportunity

A growing construction organization is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager to support major upcoming system implementations and strengthen the finance function.

With significant system upgrades underway, this position offers the opportunity for accelerated career growth, including the potential to move into a Controller role within the next 12 months for a high-performing candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and help lead two major system implementations:
  • SAGE Intacct ERP rollout
  • ADP Workforce Now payroll migration
• Assist in developing new accounting processes and improving operational efficiency.
• Manage and mentor a small accounting team.
• Oversee core accounting areas including:
  • Fixed assets
  • Depreciation
  • Intercompany accounting
