Office Manager / Assistant Controller
Reporting to our Controller, you’ll support the dealership’s day-to-day accounting and office operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and compliantly.
What you’ll do
- Support the accounting team to manage receivables, payables, inventory, titling, and other office tasks
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and departmental reports
- Perform daily account reviews and reconciliations to catch errors or irregularities
- Handle month-end close duties and submit manufacturer financials on time
- Support sales and service teams with accounting needs
- Ensure all state and manufacturer reporting requirements are met
- Maintain a professional appearance and complete required company training
Who you are
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Skilled at leading and mentoring a small team
- Comfortable preparing and analyzing financial reports
- Familiar with compliance requirements in automotive dealership accounting
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Must have minimum 3 years of dealership experience
- Auto dealership accounting experience is strongly preferred.
- College degree preferred, High school diploma or equivalent required
