Job Title: Assistant Controller
Location: Parsippany, NJ, 3 days a week
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Description:
Seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to support the build-out of its North American finance organization during a major transformation and ERP implementation.
Key Requirements
- CPA required
- Experience in Controller, Assistant Controller, Record-to-Report (R2R), or Controllership functions
- Strong background in intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, and royalty accounting
- Experience supporting Source-to-Pay (S2P/P2P) processes
- Solid US GAAP knowledge
- ERP experience (SAP or Dynamics preferred)
- Big 4/public accounting experience is a plus
- Experience in a carve-out, shared services, or PE-backed environment is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Manage intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and royalty cross-charges
- Support statutory reporting, audits, and compliance
- Partner with tax, treasury, procurement, and shared services teams
- Support ERP implementation and TSA transition activities
- Drive issue resolution across finance operations and transaction processing

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $51.00-$56.00 per hour.
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include [geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate
