Job Description

Our client is seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager ready to take the next step into an Assistant Controller role. This is a hands-on, high-visibility opportunity supporting a fast-growing, multi-entity business with significant exposure to M&A, integrations, budgeting, forecasting, and executive leadership.

The role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can easily adapt to shifting priorities, and enjoys taking ownership of a wide variety of accounting and finance responsibilities.

Travel: Expect heavier travel during the first few months while working alongside the Regional Controller on acquisitions and integrations. Travel decreases significantly after onboarding.
Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and month-end close for multiple entities
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and cash management
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integrations
• Support external audits, tax compliance, and banking activities
• Partner with shared services, IT, and operations on process improvements and system integrations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Multi-entity accounting experience required
• M&A or acquisition integration experience strongly preferred
• CPA and Big 4 experience not required
