Position Details:
Assistant Cook: $16/hr + $2/hr bonus for 95% attendance each month
Head Cook: $22/hr starting August 2026 for top performers
Shift Options (Flexible):
6: 30 AM 2: 00 PM
7: 00 AM 2: 30 PM
7: 30 AM 3: 00 PM
8: 00 AM 3: 30 PM
Temp-to-hire with potential advancement to Head Cook based on performance and attendance
What You ll Be Doing:
Assist with preparation and cooking of meals and snacks according to the school menu
Portion and serve food to students and staff
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Store food and supplies properly to prevent waste
Follow food safety, hygiene, and allergy regulations
Receive and store food deliveries
What We re Looking For:
Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
Good communication and interpersonal skills
