Salary Range: $32,355 - $38,065

FLSA Status: Nonexempt

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Baylor security has the huge responsibility to keep Baylor employees, visitors, research, and Baylor property safe and secure. Baylor security is searching for a Assistant Coordinator, Security who works well with our security team in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you''ll protect the staff, patients, visitors, and assets of the College.

Duty Hours: Days, must be available to work weekends.

Job Duties

• Checks ID of individuals entering Baylor facilities to insure authorized entry.
• Verifies intent of those requesting entry to prevent unauthorized access.
• Issues temporary ID to visitors and directs them to proper destination.
• Enforce Baylor policies within their area.
• Assists VIP''s as appropriate.
• Escorts Baylor Staff, Faculty, Students, and others as necessary.
• Patrols Baylor facilities.
• Checks doors and locks to ensure area is secure.
• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in security.
