Assistant Dining Room Manager – Full-Time

Are you an experienced food service professional who enjoys leading a team and providing excellent customer service? We are looking for you!

We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Assistant Dining Room Manager to join our Dining Services team at our senior living community.

This is a great opportunity for someone with food service supervisory experience who enjoys working with seniors, supporting a team, and creating a welcoming dining experience.

Great Work Schedule - No Late Nights!

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Saturday: Finish by approximately 8:30 PM
• Sunday: Finish by approximately 3:30 PM
• Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support dining room staff to ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with daily dining operations and staff assignments.
• Welcome residents and guests and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist with training, scheduling, and supervising dining room employees.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of all dining areas.
• Coordinate special dining events with the Director of Dining Services and Executive Chef.
• Promote teamwork and positive relationships with residents, staff, and management.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and service standards are followed.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous food service supervisory or management experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to train, motivate, and supervise employees.
• Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Friendly, professional, and enjoys working with seniors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be flexible and available to work every other weekend.
