    Responsibilities

    • Oversees the implementation of strategies to support campus enrollment goals, admissions priorities, and strategic marketing initiatives. Collaborates with staff to ensure consistent, timely, and relevant communications with prospective students, applicants, and admitted students through outreach campaigns, engagement initiatives, and Slate-based communication strategies.
    • Serves as a point of contact for applicants, parents, university officials, and community stakeholders. Develops expertise in residency and judicial processes related to admissions and promotes an environment of exceptional customer service throughout the admissions experience.
    • Works closely with FSU Panama City staff and Tallahassee admissions partners to ensure compliance with university admissions procedures, branding standards, enrollment objectives, and strategic admissions goals.
    • Assists campus leadership in the management of daily operational functions within the Admissions Office. Develops and implements processes that improve operational efficiency, enhance prospective student experiences, and support departmental objectives. Oversees appropriate Slate system access and collaborates with Tallahassee partners to maintain effective admissions operations.
    • Supports policy development, workflow improvements, and strategic initiatives that advance enrollment goals. Assists with the administration of admissions systems, communication strategies, and office operations while maintaining productive relationships with university partners and stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    Bachelors degree and four years' experience related to academic and/or student services or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to eight years in the same.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's Degree.
    • Prior experience working in higher education admissions, enrollment management, student services, or related areas.
    • Expertise in Slate or other admissions CRM platforms.
    • Experience supervising professional staff and managing operational workflows.
    • Knowledge of residency determination, admissions policies, and higher education regulations.
    • Experience developing strategic communication or recruitment campaigns.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    • Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, and operational processes.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, families, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
    • Proficiency with computer applications and student information systems.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).

    Anticipated Salary Range

    Starting at $51,500, commensurate with education and experience.
