General Function
The Assistant Director, Data Management & Accountability provides leadership and operational oversight for data systems, reporting, and accountability functions within the College and Career Readiness (CCR) department. Reporting to the Executive Director of CCR (or Dean), this position ensures accurate data management, compliance with state and federal requirements, and timely submission of required reports.
This role supervises CCR data staff and supports data integrity, reporting accuracy, and continuous improvement of data processes used for decision-making and compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise CCR data staff responsible for data entry, reporting, and records management.
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of CCR data and required reports.
Manage CCR data systems (Colleague, ADVANSYS, LEIS, Informer, Tableau, Power BI).
Coordinate preparation and submission of state and federal reports, including LEIS.
Monitor data quality and resolve errors or discrepancies.
Develop and maintain data procedures, workflows, and internal controls.
Provide training and technical support on data systems and reporting requirements.
Serve as liaison with Institutional Effectiveness, IT, and external agencies.
Develop reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
Assist with system updates, testing, and implementation of data tools.
Ensure compliance with Title II Adult Education reporting requirements.
Support audits and maintain required documentation standards.
Collaborate with CCR leadership to improve reporting processes.
Attend trainings and meetings related to data and accountability.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Education, Public Administration, or related field and five (5) years of experience in data management, reporting, or accountability systems, including two (2) years of supervisory or lead experience.
OR
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of experience in data management, reporting, or accountability systems, including two (2) years of supervisory or lead experience.

Working Conditions:
Typical office environment with frequent use of computers and data systems. Frequently sits for extended periods while using a computer, keyboard, and phone. Frequently communicates with leadership, faculty, staff, and external partners in person, virtually, and by telephone. Occasionally travels between campus locations and infrequently lifts or carry items up to 15 pounds.
