Description

Position Summary

This role is intended to help support all campaign and development-related priorities. Duties will include:

  • driving the Dean's prospect portfolio by preparing his briefings and managing any upcoming campaigns;
  • sharpening the focus on our gift table and top-priority donors;
  • continuing to refine the pipeline through a complete quarterly review of the Dean's prospects, working in connection with the research team and senior administrators;
  • and working closely with our directors/team on events with a special focus on alumni and trustee engagement, stewardship, and ad hoc projects that advance the mission of our fundraising activities.

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelors Degree Preferred Education: Masters Degree

Required Experience: 3+ years relevant professional level experience, including experience in scheduling and interacting with important donors, and writing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated organizational, writing, and event management skills.
  • Proven ability to problem solve, adapt quickly, and deal with highly charged situations and individuals sensitively and calmly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYCs Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $85,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
