The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
In collaboration with the Director of Cancer Center and the VP of Clinical Operations, the Assistant director of outpatient infusion is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating the management of clinical practice activities within Community Medical Center outpatient infusion department, including direct oversight of Infusion center, Clinic RNs, nurse navigation, and social workers within the department,
The Assistant Director ensures quality nursing care is delivered to all patients in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures, and program plans of the hospital,
Assists with the development of patient care standards, orientation and continuing education,
Evaluates staff performance in accordance with organization policies,
Participates in nursing Quality Improvement,
Maintains clinical skills necessary to provide care to patients,
Ensure that Community Medical Center Outpatient Infusion Center complies with all applicable policies, laws and regulations,
Section III: Job Qualifications/Education/Training/Certification/Licensure
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey,
Bachelor of Science in nursing required,
Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification through Oncological Nurses Society required,
OCN preferred,
Successful completion of all Orientation Programs,

Collaborates with Human Resources in the interpretation and implementation of labor contracts; interviews and hires employees, extends probation, recommends promotions, approves transfers and terminates in consultation with Director of Cancer Center,
