Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Admissions for Campus Tours & Events is responsible for developing and implementing on-campus event strategy and overseeing the daily on-campus tour operations in addition to recruitment activities for assigned areas nationwide. The candidate works with prospective students throughout the college process. The candidate has a clear commitment to providing excellent customer service to students, families, and related individuals or organizations, reinforcing Marymount's commitment to student-centered education and development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor's degree (BA, BS, etc.) required.
Experience
2-3 years of related experience in recruiting, admissions and customer service within the higher education system
Licenses or Certifications
Valid driver's license required
Financial Responsibility
Processes or records financial transactions within established guidelines and safeguards. Responsible for University issued credit card to be used for necessary expenses and files the appropriate expense reports.

Special Knowledge
Preference will be given to candidates with prior event planning and student supervisory experience. Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required. Skilled in public speaking and ability to interact with audiences from a wide variety of backgrounds and lived experiences. Ability to write grammatically correct emails/letters. Understanding of admissions and financial aid terminology. Preference given to candidates who are fluent in Spanish. Slate experience preferred.
