Job Function: The Assistant Director of Licensing and Commercial Partnerships is a newly created position responsible for managing and growing the NCAA's Endemic Partner Program—a strategic commercial initiative through which companies integral to college sports (equipment manufacturers, apparel brands, sports technology providers, and related suppliers) receive traditional marketing rights in exchange for their partnership with the Association. This position serves as the NCAA's primary day-to-day manager of endemic sponsor relationships, working in close collaboration with an NCAA-designated marketing rights agency to prospect, onboard, activate, and steward endemic partners across the championships portfolio. The Assistant Director ensures that endemic sponsors receive full value from their NCAA partnership, that contractual obligations are met on both sides, and that the program grows in scope, revenue, and strategic importance over time—translating the NCAA's unique position at the center of the college sports ecosystem into durable, mutually beneficial commercial partnerships.
