Job Description
Kforce has a client seeking an Assistant Director of Construction Management in Hollywood, FL to support the leadership and operational management of a construction management organization responsible for capital improvement and construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director in managing departmental operations, processes, procedures, and administrative functions
- Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to project managers, technical staff, professional personnel, and administrative support teams
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of capital improvement and construction projects
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, consultants, and project teams to ensure alignment on project objectives
- Assist in developing departmental priorities, project assignments, timelines, and resource allocation plans
- Coordinate with project managers and consultants to develop project proposals, presentations, and recommendations for executive leadership review
- Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and compliance with established standards and requirements
- Provide technical expertise and support in the administration of capital construction programs
- Promote consistency in project management practices, documentation, and reporting
- Support strategic planning initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the construction management function
- Prepare and present project updates, status reports, and recommendations to executive leadership
