Working Title Assistant Director of Enrollment Services Position Status Full Time Department Student Services General Summary

The Assistant Director of Enrollment Services manages the daily operations of the Wrangler Express Center and Call Center, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient delivery of admissions, registration, financial aid, cashiering, and enrollment support services. This position supervises Enrollment Services personnel, oversees daily operations and service quality, serves as the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO), and provides leadership in the absence of the Director of Enrollment Services.

Specific Position Duties

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Wrangler Express Center and Call Center.
  • Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate Enrollment Services personnel.
  • Foster a student-centered environment that delivers exceptional customer service to prospective and current students, parents, and community members.
  • Coordinate admissions, registration, cashiering, financial aid support, and enrollment service operations.
  • Monitor daily workflows and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
  • Serve as the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) and ensure compliance with all Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to international students regarding immigration requirements, enrollment, and institutional processes.
  • Process and review admissions applications and related enrollment documents.
  • Assist students with residency determination, registration, payment options, and general enrollment processes.
  • Support students in completing financial aid applications and understanding financial aid requirements.
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
  • Coordinate staff training and ensure consistent application of enrollment policies and procedures.
  • Monitor customer service performance and recommend improvements to service delivery.
  • Prepare operational reports and assist with departmental assessment activities.
  • Serve as the department's operational leader in the absence of the Director of Enrollment Services.
  • Participate in community outreach and recruitment activities as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or two years of progressively responsible experience in admissions, enrollment services, student services, or a related higher education area.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited institution.

Experience serving as a Designated School Official (DSO/PDSO) or working with international student services.

Experience with Ellucian Colleague, Element451, or similar higher education systems.

Knowledge of admissions, registration, financial aid, and cashiering processes in higher education.

Annual Salary $50,000-$55,000 Hiring range Work Hours
