    Description

    • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline; Master's degree desirable.
    • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial aid administration or a related higher education field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge and skills.
    • Superior communication skills required to communicate sensitive, complicated, and confidential information to prospective students, families, and colleagues.
    • Knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Experience collaborating with admissions and other campus partners to support institutional enrollment and student success goals.
    • Technical expertise related to online resources and processes.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Physical Requirements

    The essential functions of this job require an individual who is able to adequately (1) communicate well enough to be understood by others, (2) operate a personal computer and (3) use a telephone. In the course of the typical workday, one may be required to transport oneself short distances in order to attend campus meetings and events. These distances will generally not exceed three standard city blocks.
