The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and compliant resident care. The ADON assists with daily nursing operations, staff supervision, clinical oversight, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
Active RN license required.
Previous SNF/LTC experience strongly preferred.
Prior nursing leadership, supervisory, charge nurse, or management experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, resident rights, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.
