Your Role
As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you'll partner with the Director of Nursing to provide leadership, ensure quality resident care, and support a positive, team-focused culture.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team.
- Lead and support infection prevention and quality initiatives that promote outstanding resident outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations while fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Qualifications
Required
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license and CPR certification.
- Minimum of two years of nursing leadership experience in long-term care.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with electronic health records and Microsoft Office.
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Five or more years of nursing leadership experience.
- Experience with PointClickCare.
- Infection Prevention Certification.
