Your Role

As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you'll partner with the Director of Nursing to provide leadership, ensure quality resident care, and support a positive, team-focused culture.


Responsibilities include:

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team.
  • Lead and support infection prevention and quality initiatives that promote outstanding resident outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations while fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.


Qualifications

Required

  • Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license and CPR certification.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing leadership experience in long-term care.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with electronic health records and Microsoft Office.


Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Five or more years of nursing leadership experience.
  • Experience with PointClickCare.
  • Infection Prevention Certification.
