Location: McKeesport, PA 15132 Duration: 3 Months with possible extension Schedule: Monday–Friday, Daylight; rotational weekends as needed
We is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations and ensuring high-quality resident care in a long-term care facility.
Responsibilities:
Supervise nursing staff and coordinate daily unit operations.
Monitor resident care, staffing, and nursing standards.
Support MDS completion, QA audits, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
Participate in surveys, inspections, and corrective action plans.
Assist with employee evaluations, attendance, and disciplinary matters.
Review resident complaints and assist with investigations.
Promote resident rights, dignity, safety, and quality care.
Serve as Nursing Department manager when directed.
Qualifications:
BSN + 2 years supervisory/management experience, or
ADN/Diploma + 4 years supervisory/management experience.
Current Pennsylvania RN license.
Long-term care or healthcare management experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
