Assistant Director of Nursing - Wound Nurse

Reporting to the Director of Nursing the Assistant Director of Nursing ADON - Wound Nurse will specialize in assessing and treating patients with complex wounds ostomies or continence conditions. They will work closely with members of patient care teams to ensure that personalized treatment plans are followed correctly in order to prevent future infection or injury.This position is also responsible for planning organizing developing and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with local state and federal standards and regulations established facility policies and procedures.May be directed by the Administrator and the Medical Director to provide appropriate care.There are essentially three different ADON tracks general operations and a quality focus.A job incumbent is expected to be able to perform functions of all tracks at any given time especially in the case of resource support needs.The main differentiator is the amount of t
