Job Description
The Assistant Director of Recruitment for the Treasure Valley region provides strategic oversight, leadership, and coordination of recruitment efforts within one of Idaho State University's most active regional markets. Supervising two Admissions & Recruitment Coordinators (ARCs), this position ensures effective territory management, lead generation, and prospective-student engagement while supporting ISU's enrollment goals.
The Assistant Director will also serve as a recruitment liaison, developing expertise in assigned academic programs and training recruitment staff on academic offerings. This role includes limited travel, active participation in major recruitment events, and ongoing coordination with campus partners.
This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and strategic oversight for Treasure Valley recruitment. (35%)
Supervise and develop ARC staff. (25%)
Serve as a Recruitment Liaison. (20%)
Participate in recruitment travel and outreach. (10%)
Support major enrollment and recruitment events. (10%)
Other Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
At least two (2) years of experience engaging with high school or college students in educational, advisory, support, outreach, or mentorship roles, including but not limited to college admissions, academic advising, student recruitment, counseling, or other educational focused programs or services
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Experience working with different student groups
Ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate staff
Ability to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed
Knowledge of or willingness to learn health science program structures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM tools
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
Experience in higher education recruitment or student services
Supervisory experience
Familiarity with ISU academic programs
Experience with CRM Recruit, Slate, or similar systems
Additional Information

Salary will be between $60,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
