The Assistant Director provides comprehensive HR leadership across cabinet-level operations, including talent acquisition, onboarding, labor relations, and compliance. The Assistant Director ensures alignment of policies, labor agreements, certifications, and procedures with legal and regulatory requirements while supporting effective communication and training across departments and labor groups. This position is designed to strengthen organizational capacity in HR systems, employee relations, and workforce management. It requires close collaboration with leadership, supervisors, and external partners to ensure consistent practices, compliance, and responsiveness to district-wide staffing and operational needs.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field required. Masters degree preferred. Five (5) to seven (7) years progressive human resources experience required. SPHR and/or SHRM, SCP preferred. Salary Range Administrator, Level G: $105,320 - $131,650/yr. * Placement on band is based on years of direct experience in a comparable role.
