This position is a member of the New Student Recruitment Team and manages all aspects of the recruitment program at New College including the evaluation of a multi-year recruitment plan.
Examples of Duties
The Assistant Director, Recruitment Strategy, based on campus, will assist in the directing of recruitment activities for prospective students. In this role, the Associate Director will partner with Admissions staff and athletic coaches to identify, recruit, and enroll students who align with New College's academic standards, athletic goals, and mission.
Serve as an admissions liaison to several other departments on campus, ensuring seamless communication between Admissions staff, Financial Aid, the Registrar's Office, Athletic and Academic coaches, and other offices on campus. This will include training and advising athletic coaches on admissions policies, recruitment timelines, and best practices for prospective student engagement.
Assist in guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process, including scholarship opportunities and affordability options. This role frequently communicates with students, families, high school staff members, coaches, and other important student influencers via email, phone, text message, and other digital platforms as needed and is expected to provide superb customer service.
Utilize CRM to track recruitment activities and maintain accurate records across departments.
The Assistant Director will assist in the reviewing of applications, will provide input on admissions decisions, and will regularly participate in admissions committee meetings to select mission-appropriate candidates for admissions.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and at least five years of appropriate experience in college/university admissions and/or recruiting.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and a willingness to travel in Florida and out-of-state as required
This position requires some travel (via car and airplane) to college fairs, high schools, and other events.
Must have the physical stamina to work extended hours during peak periods of the recruitment cycle and load and unload boxes of materials weighing up to 50 pounds several times a day at various locations during a typical recruitment trip.
Must be able to work nights and weekends for recruitment and events both on and off campus.
