Role Description The Assistant role at DayCare is a full-time, on-site position based in Dolton, IL. The Assistant supports daily classroom and care routines, including helping supervise children, organizing activities, and assisting with age-appropriate learning and play. Responsibilities include setting up and cleaning activity areas, supporting meal and snack times, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment. The Assistant works closely with lead caregivers or teachers to follow schedules, implement learning activities, and observe children’s behavior and needs. Additional tasks may include greeting families, monitoring supplies, following health and safety procedures, and contributing to a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all children.\n
